MoU between IIT Mandi and HPKVN

Short term Training courses to develop the skill of Himachali youth. Under the MoU following courses has been proposed:

  • Hands-On Course on Embedded Systems (Completed, dated: 7th Dec, 2022 to 31st Dec, 2022)
  • Model Predictive Control for Industrial Systems (Completed, dated: 9th 2023 to 29th Jan 2023)
  • Hands-On Training of Computational Fluid Dynamics (Completed, dated: 1st Nov. to 19th Nov. 2022)
  • Finite Element Modelling for Engineering (Completed, dated: 23rd Nov. to 13th Dec, 2022)
  • Hands-On Course on Product Design and Manufacturing (Completed, dated: 9th Dec to 31st Dec 2022)

MoU between IIT Mandi and DTE (Directorate of Technical Education, Vocational & Industrial Training, H.P. Sundernagar

To organize updation programme for faculty of polytechnics and Engineering Colleges under Directorate of Technical Education, Vocational & Industrial Training, H.P. Sundernagar (DTE)

Completed Programme:

  • Faculty Development Updation Programme for Faculty of Polytechnics and Engineering Colleges (FDP -01) completed on dated: 18th to 24th July, 2022.
  • Faculty Development Updation Programme for Faculty of Polytechnics and Engineering Colleges (FDP -02) completed on dated: 29th August to 03rd September, 2022.
  • Faculty Development Updation Programme for Faculty of Polytechnics and Engineering Colleges (FDP-03) started on date: 29th January to 03rd February, 2023

MoU between IIT Mandi and SCERT ( State Council of Education Research & Training, New Delhi, India

Completed Programme:

  • Training of teachers in science including Physics, Chemistry and Biology Completed on Dated: 10-03-2023 to 15-03-2023
  • Training of teachers in Mathematics Completed on Dated: 26-02-2023 to 02-03-2023

MoU between IIT Mandi and NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation)

Both parties have agreed to collaborate on multiple initiatives contributing towards making India the Skill Capital of the World

Ongoing Programme:

  • Certificate programs in Data Science for professionals from all walks of life started on 12 Dec, 2022. The certification has been meticulously designed in a way to ensure that it doesn’t require prior programming knowledge. This program is unique as IIT Mandi has equipped their regular classroom with equipment and the Technologies required to relay the selected class of B.Tech Data Science program for the students joining this course remotely

Upcoming Event:

  • School Camp on Robotics and AI (PRAYAS 2.0) for the skill development of UP school teachers and students is planned from 5 June to 4 July 2023.
